The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau- Washington DC is organizing a lecture entitled “Victorious Wars of Ancient Egypt” on 10 October 2023 at 6 pm (EST). The lecture will be presented By Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Saady, Professor of Ancient Egypt and Near East Civilization and Winner of the State Appreciation Award in Social Sciences in 2023.

Celebrating World Maritime Day, ECEB is organizing a lecture on Thursday 28 September entitled "Five Thousand Years of Boats and Ships in Egypt". The lecture is presented by Prof. Emad Khalil: professor of Maritime Archaeology at Alexandria University and the holder of the UNESCO Chair in Underwater Cultural Heritage.

في ذكرى وفاة نجيب محفوظ، أمير الرواية العربية، وأول أديب عربي يحصل على جائزة نوبل في الآداب، يعقد المكتب الثقافي التعليمي المصري بواشنطن ندوة عن الأديب. ضيف الندوة الكاتبة ريم بسيوني الحاصلة على جائزة نجيب محفوظ من المجلس الأعلى للثقافة في 2020.  تعقد الندوة يوم الأربعاء 30 أغسطس 2023 الساعة 6 مساءا.

On the anniversary of Nagib Mahfouz, the Prince of Arabic Novel, and the first Arabic author to win a Nobel Prize, ECEB organizes a symposium about the author.  The guest speaker is the Egyptian author, Reem Basiouny, Nagib Mahfouz Award winner in 2020. The symposium is on Wednesday 30 August 2023 at 6 pm.
