On May 14, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) in Washington, D.C. facilitated a virtual meeting between representatives of Sinai University and St. John's University to continue discussions on potential collaboration in the field of Cybersecurity.

Building upon previous discussions, the meeting focused on exploring opportunities for academic and research cooperation in cybersecurity education, including joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange, curriculum development, professional training, and collaborative programs designed to address emerging challenges in digital security and cyber resilience.

Both institutions shared their expertise, academic strengths, and strategic priorities in cybersecurity and discussed potential pathways for establishing a long-term partnership that would benefit students, researchers, and faculty members.

The meeting reflects the growing importance of international collaboration in advancing cybersecurity education and preparing future professionals to address the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

قام المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن يوم 14 مايو 2026 بتنسيق اجتماع افتراضي بين ممثلي جامعة سيناء وجامعة سانت جونز (St. John's University)، وذلك لاستكمال المناقشات المتعلقة بفرص التعاون المشترك في مجال الأمن السيبراني.

وتناول الاجتماع بحث عدد من مجالات التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي، بما في ذلك البحوث المشتركة، وتبادل الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وتطوير المناهج الدراسية، وبرامج التدريب والتأهيل المهني، بالإضافة إلى المبادرات التي تسهم في تعزيز القدرات البشرية والمؤسسية في مجال الأمن السيبراني.

كما استعرض الجانبان خبراتهما وإمكاناتهما الأكاديمية والبحثية، وناقشا آليات بناء شراكة مستدامة تدعم الابتكار وتواكب التطورات المتسارعة في مجالات الأمن الرقمي وحماية المعلومات.

ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار جهود المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن لدعم التعاون بين الجامعات المصرية والأمريكية وتعزيز الشراكات الدولية في المجالات ذات الأولوية الاستراتيجية.
