Exploring Opportunities for Collaboration with the Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund

On May 22, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) in Washington, D.C. held a virtual meeting with representatives of the Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund (EAEF) to discuss opportunities for collaboration and to learn more about the organization's contributions to Egypt's economic development and private sector growth.

The discussion highlighted the EAEF's role in supporting entrepreneurship, investment, innovation, and job creation in Egypt since its establishment in 2011. Participants also exchanged ideas on strengthening awareness of the longstanding partnership between Egypt and the United States and exploring initiatives that support economic development, education, and capacity building.

The meeting included a presentation of the recently published book, "A Daring Enterprise: A U.S.-Egyptian Partnership and the Case for Soft Power," which documents the EAEF's experience in Egypt and its impact on supporting the private sector and creating employment opportunities across various sectors of the Egyptian economy.

وتناول اللقاء استعراض الدور الذي يقوم به الصندوق منذ تأسيسه عام 2011 في دعم ريادة الأعمال والاستثمار والابتكار والمساهمة في خلق فرص العمل وتنمية القطاع الخاص في مختلف أنحاء مصر. كما ناقش الجانبان فرص التعاون في المبادرات التي تسهم في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة وبناء القدرات ودعم العلاقات المصرية الأمريكية.

كما تم استعراض الكتاب الصادر حديثًا بعنوان "A Daring Enterprise: A U.S.-Egyptian Partnership and the Case for Soft Power"، والذي يوثق تجربة الصندوق المصري الأمريكي للمشروعات في مصر وأثره في دعم القطاع الخاص والمساهمة في توفير عشرات الآلاف من فرص العمل عبر قطاعات اقتصادية متنوعة.
