Exploring New Opportunities for Collaboration between Ain Shams University and Northeastern University

On May 12, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) in Washington, D.C. facilitated a virtual meeting between representatives of Ain Shams University and Northeastern University to discuss potential avenues for academic and research collaboration.

في ١٤ مايو ٢٠٢٦، قام المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن بتنسيق اجتماع افتراضي بين الأستاذ الدكتور ياسر الشايب من جامعة القاهرة وممثلي جامعة أركنساس الحكومية (Arkansas State University) لبحث فرص التعاون الأكاديمي والتعلم من خلال الخبرة العملية.

تناول الاجتماع إمكانية تنظيم زيارات ميدانية وبرامج دراسية في مصر لطلاب جامعة أركنساس الحكومية كجزء من مقرراتهم الدراسية، بما يتيح لهم الاستفادة من المقومات الحضارية والثقافية والتاريخية والعلمية الفريدة التي تتمتع بها مصر، ويوفر تجربة تعليمية متكاملة تجمع بين الدراسة الأكاديمية والتطبيق العملي.

On May 11, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) in Washington, D.C. organized and facilitated a virtual meeting between representatives of the School of Pharmacy at Future University in Egypt (FUE) and the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).

The meeting served as a continuation of ongoing discussions between the two institutions and provided an opportunity to further explore potential areas of collaboration in pharmacy education, research, faculty development, student exchange, experiential training, and other academic initiatives of mutual interest.

Participants exchanged ideas and discussed opportunities to build a sustainable partnership that would enhance academic excellence, promote innovation in pharmacy education, and strengthen international cooperation between Egypt and the United States.
