On May 11, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) in Washington, D.C. organized and facilitated a virtual meeting between representatives of the School of Pharmacy at Future University in Egypt (FUE) and the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).

The meeting served as a continuation of ongoing discussions between the two institutions and provided an opportunity to further explore potential areas of collaboration in pharmacy education, research, faculty development, student exchange, experiential training, and other academic initiatives of mutual interest.

Participants exchanged ideas and discussed opportunities to build a sustainable partnership that would enhance academic excellence, promote innovation in pharmacy education, and strengthen international cooperation between Egypt and the United States.
