بمناسبة ذكرى وفاة نجيب محفوظ نظم المكتب الثقافي التعليمي المصري بواشنطن ندوة عن الأديب. أدارت الندوة أ.د. هبه محمود الملحق الثقافي حيث استضافت د. ريم بسيوني الأستاذ بالجامعة الأمريكية والأديبة، ومن خلال المناقشة ألقت الضيفة الضوء على أعمال نجيب محفوظ وسمات أسلوبه الأدبي.

The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau-Washington DC organized a symposium about Nagib Mahfouz on his death anniversary (30 August. The Cultural Attache, Prof. Heba Mahmoud, moderated the discussion with the guest Dr. Reem Basiouny, the Professor at AUC and author. Through the discussion, the guest shed light on the works of Nagib Mahfouz and his writing style.

Prof. Heba M. Saad organized- on 18 August- an online meeting with prof. Mohammad Attallah, the
treasurer of the Association of Egyptian-American Scholars. They discussed the cooperation between
the members of the association and their home-country, and the suggestions and plans for organizing
the upcoming annual conference of the association to celebrate its 50 th anniversary.

اسقبلت الأستاذ الدكتور هبه محمود سعد الملحق الثقافي ومدير المكتب الثقافي التعليمي بواشنطن يوم 21 أغسطس الأستاذ الدكتور ديفيد ستيوارت العميد المشارك للعلاقات الدولية بجامعة غرب فريجينيا لمناقشة سبل التعاون مع الجامعات المصرية من خلال البرامج الأكاديمية المشتركة وبرامج الدراسة بالخارج للطلاب الأمريكيين.

Prof. Heba M. Saad, the Cultural Attaché and director of ECEB met Dr. David Stewart, the Associate Provost for International Relations at West Virginia University on 21 August. They discussed the current and future cooperation between WVU and the Egyptian universities through academic programs and “Study Abroad Program” for the American students.

نظم المكتب الثقافي التعليمي المصري بواشنطن يوم الخميس 17 أغسطس محاضرة أونلاين بعنوان "الكنوز المصرية بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية" قدمتها أ.د. هبه محمود الملحق الثقافي ومدير المكتب لعرض نماذج من التحف المصرية المميزة الموجودة في المتاحف الأمريكية والتي يمكن من خلالها التعرف على التراث المصري والكثير من ملامح الحضارة المصرية

  The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau organized an online lecture on 17 August entitled “The Egyptian Treasures in the USA”. The lecture was presented by Prof. Dr. Heba Mahmoud Saad, the Cultural Attaché to display examples of the Egyptian masterpieces that are exhibited in some of the American museums. Such masterpieces shed light on the Egyptian heritage and serveral aspects of the Egyptian civilization.
