ECEB authenticates two types of Academic documents:

 

University/College Transcripts and Diplomas 

Must satisfy the following conditions

1) Issued from a “regionally accredited” US university/College.

 (The Campus must be in the USA; ECEB does not authenticate documents for overseas campuses)

2) The study program is attendance-based (not online or distance learning)

3) Document is Original  (and not a copy)

4) The Transcript must be submitted to ECEB in a university-sealed envelope and must have: 

all the valid university official stampssignatures, and security marks 

5) The Diploma must come with an official transcript  (thatsatisfies the conditions above) and must have valid signatures and the university “ raised” logo (Enrollment Letter can only be authenticated if it has valid signatures and a university “raised” seal, or comes sealed in the university/school-stamped envelope).

6) If you have finished high school in the USA in 2019 or after, you will need to authenticate the original high school diploma and/or transcript (the document that shows the subjects studied). This is if you plan to do the equivalency through the Supreme Council of Universities.  

7) The ECEB can issue true copies after authenticating the original documents, and each copy will cost $60

School Reports (grades K-12) and High School Diplomas

Must satisfy the following conditions:

1) The School has to be a public school or a private school recognized by the Department of Education of the state/county

2) For online schools/homeschools, this will be subject to evaluation.

3) Document is Original (and not a copy)

4) The Grade report must have the valid signatures and official school “raised” seal.

5) The High School Diploma must satisfy the graduation requirements set by the Board of Education or Department of Education, and should be accompanied by the official transcript (Certificate of completion and other types of  Certificates are not authenticated)

(An Enrollment Letter can only be authenticated if it has valid signatures and a university “raised” seal, or comes sealed in the university/school-stamped envelope.

Directions:

 – Notarization and U.S. State Department authentication are not required for authenticating the documents from ECEB.

 – The cost of authentication is $60 for every single document (regardless of the number of pages of the document), paid by Money Order or Cashier's Check. The Money order should be payable to ECEB (Kindly write your name and address on the designated part of the money order).  Cash, personal checks, and credit cards are not accepted. For school documents, each grade is treated as a single document, and if the student spent one grade at more than one school, each school's report is treated as a single document.

 – You can send the documents that need authentication to our office by mail to the address shown below, along with a prepaid “labeled” return envelope to your desired address.

– Please include in your mailed package your contact information in case our office needs to contact you.

– After authenticating the documents from ECEB, you need to authenticate them from one of the Egyptian Consulates in the USA before you submit them in Egypt. (List of Egyptian Consulates in the USA)

– Authentication at ECEB table 7-10 business days (not including mail time).
