The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Washington, D.C., hosted a distinguished celebration marking the 72nd Anniversary of the July 23rd Revolution, a pivotal milestone in modern Egyptian history.
 
The evening was graced by H.E. Ambassador Motaz Zahran, who delivered a heartfelt and inspiring speech highlighting the enduring legacy of the revolution and Egypt’s continued commitment to peace, development, and partnership with the United States and the international community.
The celebration featured a special address by renowned Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, who captivated the audience with insights into Egypt’s unparalleled heritage and extended a warm invitation to all to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) – soon to be the largest archaeological museum in the world.
 
The event welcomed an esteemed audience, including ambassadors, senior diplomats, U.S. administration representatives, members of Congress, political leaders, academics, public figures, and members of the Egyptian community. Guests enjoyed a warm and friendly atmosphere, enriched by authentic Egyptian music and exquisite traditional cuisine, showcasing the richness of Egyptian culture.
