On June 11, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) had the honor of accepting an invitation from the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Washington, D.C. to attend the remarkable presentation "Legacy of Mesopotamia."

The event featured distinguished speakers from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, who provided fascinating insights into the rich history, cultural heritage, and enduring legacy of Mesopotamian civilization—one of the world's earliest centers of human development, innovation, and knowledge.

The presentation offered a unique opportunity to explore the rofound contributions of Mesopotamia to human civilization and highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting our shared cultural heritage.

وشهدت الفعالية مشاركة نخبة من المتحدثين المرموقين من متحف المتروبوليتان للفنون، الذين استعرضوا جوانب من التاريخ العريق والتراث الحضاري الغني لبلاد ما بين النهرين، باعتبارها إحدى أقدم الحضارات الإنسانية ومهدًا للعديد من الإنجازات التي أسهمت في تشكيل مسيرة الحضارة البشرية.
