Prof. Dr. Essam Al-Kordy, President of Alamein International University signs a MOU with Prof. Dr. Charles King, President of James Madison University on 25 July. This cooperation will open the gate for collaboration between the two universities to exchange students and professors, establish joint programs, and collaborate on capstone and research projects. Prof. Dr. Heba Saad, Director of the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau highlighted the importance of the cooperation for sharing experiences between the two universities, especially in the field of IT and engineering as a start and in other fields soon.

The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau organized a seminar and discussion with the Children’s book author Hisham Al-Maghraby on 29 July. Mr. Hisham presented his most important books and explained the idea behind each one, highlighting how his books address certain values and target a specific age group of children. The discussion with the audience reflected the interest of parents to find good children's books that are age-appropriate, match the Arabic culture, and highlight the Egyptian identity.

Dr. Heba Saad, Director of the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau organized a meeting- on 1st July-  to explore the potential cooperation between the University of Buffalo and Menufiya University. Dr. Leweis Kemper, Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences highlighted the areas of common interest with Egyptian universities and welcomed the cooperation.

The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau welcomed -on 8th July- a visit of 45 students of the Leadership Initiatives Summer Internship Program as part of their program to explore world countries, learn about leadership skills, and gain real-world experience. Dr. Heba Saad, the Cultural Attaché presented an overview of Egypt, highlighting its history, heritage, traditions and customs, and Egypt's most recent achievements. A rich discussion was held with the students who were eager to learn about the rich culture of Egypt, the Egyptians nowadays, and the role of ECEB in the USA.
