Tuesday, 29th October, we gathered for a heartwarming farewell dinner hosted by the esteemed Egyptian Ambassador in US, his excellency Moataz Zahran, celebrating Dr. Heba Saad’s incredible contributions as the previous Egyptian Cultural Attaché and Director. As we bid her farewell, and also extended a warm welcome to me as the new director. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with camaraderie, resembling a family gathering more than a formal event. The Ambassador masterfully facilitated friendly discussions, encouraging everyone around the table to share their thoughts, experiences, and fond memories—from heartfelt stories about our shared heritage to promising visions for the future. Laughter echoed as we reminisced about Dr. Heba's impactful tenure, and everyone shared a sense of belonging and unity. The warmth of the day was palpable, reflective of the strong Egyptian community here in the USA, and the Ambassador's genuine hospitality made us all feel right at home. I am truly honored to step into this role and look forward.

The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau welcomed a visit of a group of students from the Catholic University of America together with their Arabic teacher.
